We seem dogged by fluctuating water heights this year. The lower beat up by over 6ins yesterday on more overnight rain and it’s still raining! One fish lost after a brief but furious fight in the boat pool. Typical of a running fish just nipping the fly as it ran through, which is what happens in these conditions.
