The trout season at Little Saxbys Farm opened on Wednesday with perfect conditions, mild overcast and a light breeze. Compared to last year when Ron R. was the only syndicate member to brave the snow on opening day, we had a full compliment this year and a great result. 3 first fish for Maggie W. Ashley J and my new assistant Sally H. as well as a number of fish for the regulars before the traditional lunch at the farm. Lets hope the season continues as it has begun!
