Occasional showers forecast for us by the BBC for the morning… try torrential rain all morning and into the afternoon. River was rising, we were wet but enthusiasm was not diminished. Several fish seen. Jane S had a brief encounter in the Summerhouse pool, Lars R had a fish boil at his fly with me standing with him in the steps. But as often happens with running fish just nipping at it and nothing stuck. David H managed a 1lb brown trout in the glide which saved our blushes. A great team, good fun but disappointing for Colin and Andrew our Ghillies. Thanks anyway guys and see you in September. Off to Murthly on Monday hoping desperately for no more b…….y rain!
