The trout season got well underway at the farm this last week with glorious weather and near perfect conditions. Opening day for the syndicate was held with the traditional lunch after a Covid gap of two years. Chris J caught our first fish of the season, but everyone enjoyed success including Nick J taking a fish on a dry fly!

Then on Saturday, I held the first of this years Introduction to Trout Fishing Courses, with Mum Jane, Dad Phil and son Will all total new comers, catching their first ever trout!
