Plagued by constant high water which never moved from 3ft 5ins on Dalmarnock gauge all day, we struggled to find much fishing let alone fish – though I definitely saw a fish twice, or several fish with two showing, moving through the summerhouse pool in the afternoon stopping for nothing.
Despite Colin’s efforts even using the boat, we were sadly unable to add to the tally of 1 fish for the three days.
Despite that everyone said they had had a great time and we all could not thank Colin enough for his tremendous efforts to get us into fish as well as his excellent upkeep of the beat.
