Groups
In March and April, I am able to host individually tailored days for groups of 4 to 8 people. Your day can include my hosting and providing individual help and advice or a I can run a full set program for beginners and improvers alike. I also welcome those who are experienced but who merely want a relaxed day out on a totally private water, however these days are usually run in May when the fishing gets a little harder but with the advantage of our Mayfly hatch.
I only hold group days in the best fishing periods so that you are, as near as one can ever be with a weather-dependent activity, assured of a successful day.
The day typically starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.00pm. Tuition will be available during the day. Each rod has a catch limit of 4 fish per person. Please note that catch and release is not permitted, and rods may not fish for others in the party.
On the day, please ask your guests to bring with them: a pair of gumboots, a hat and a waterproof coat, in case it rains, and a pair of (sun) glasses for eye protection. You do not need to bring any tackle as all tackle can be provided, however, anyone is welcome to bring their own equipment and have it thoroughly checked over if preferred.
I am happy for you to supply your own catering or, equally, we have an excellent local pub for those who wish to take time off for refreshment during the day. Please contact me to discuss your particular requirements.
