Three-Day Basic Spey Casting and Salmon Fishing Course.
This course is structured to take both complete novices and the more experienced fisher wanting technical help and intensive tuition through a full programme of learning to Spey cast and to fish for salmon with double-handed rods.
On this course the emphasis is on teaching and whilst there is always the chance of a fish, the bulk of the time is spent learning rather than actually fishing and so these courses are purposely not held in the prime fishing times.
These courses are be held on the Dalmarnock beat on the river Tay. The beat is ideal for teaching, with both banks, good access, nice easy wading and a very comfortable fishing hut.
Courses are limited to 6 people with a lot of one-to-one help.
