Still no let up from the relentless rain until about 2pm today. River still just under the 6ft mark having been up to 7ft in the night and still very dirty.
Gave it a try though, fishing the slower and thinner bits of water, but neither saw nor touched anything.
Probably a case (which I have experienced before on upper Tweed) of the fish in the middle river have now moved on, on the floods of the last two days, but it is still too big and dirty for new fish to get through the lower beats.
