Upper Water: Height 1ft 6ins on Caputh gauge, mild some cloud cover in the morning and a good team of rods. It doesn’t get better…. except there were no fish. None of us saw so much as a fin all day other than a spectacular hatch of olives or March Browns and trout rising all down the beat. Bright sun in the afternoon then didn’t help.
