UPPER WATER: Water has settled to 2ft on the Caputh gauge. Overcast with a stiff easterly breeze. Not as cold as yesterday and really quite mild at the hut and up river, but casting in the Girnals where it is exposed was not pleasant.
Coming to a good height for Murthly and my crew covered the water well. I would have expected to have, at least, seen a few fish moving through, but nothing. We didn’t see, touch or land anything all day and I gathered from Donald who spoke to Tony on Stenton, that they didn’t either.
