Just had a chat with Donald to get the conditions before we go up to Murthly on Sunday
Water height just over 2ft but raining and the river rising a little today (Thursday)
But there are fish around in good numbers. Donald had 2 on Monday off the bottom beat, one a 20lb fish on the fly, 1 off the top beat on Tuesday and 5 off the bottom beat yesterday.
Tony has apparently had three off Stenton this week so far. So 11 fish is not too shabby in three days and gives lots of encouragement.
I will update you during our week as best I can with the limited internet capabilities in that part of the world
