I should be reporting bitterly cold conditions and fresh fish creeping through on cold high water… Err no, try 21 degrees, blazing sunshine, shirtsleeves and a very awkward water height. The height at which fish just motor through and stop for nothing. We saw a couple of fish on the Upper Water but not even a pull.
Please can we rewind to conditions for April, oh and a foot lower or a foot higher would be good!
