Murthly9th April 2019

Water down a little on yesterday for us on the Lower Water. Overcast morning but very cold easterly wind.

I saw a fish in the tail of the Spruces early on but it either wasn’t interested or had moved on by the time Dennis P covered it. Several other fish seen today and Peter W hooked a fish in the boat pool off the left bank but it came off as he was trying to bring it to shore. I tried to get a picture of him from the other side but it was rather too far for my phone camera.

In the afternoon the sun came out and blazed down the pools spoiling our chances. But at least we got close. Hopefully the cigar tomorrow.
