As we head to Scotland, the river is just coming down to a nice height at 1’5″ on the Caputh Gauge. And, as I would expect as the river comes down to this level and the Murthly beats start holding fish, Donald had a fish yesterday and on Thursday.
Also of note is that a huge fish of 35lbs was landed a couple of weeks ago, in the Garth on the bottom beat, where we will be starting on Monday.
I think we will need our thermals for the coming week, but cold weather keeps the river down so BRING IT ON!
