Water was down to 2ft 6ins, just coming back to a better height… just as my week finishes.
Another sea trout to at least give a tug but no fish for me. One small grilse was caught by one of the other rods but that was it for our three days on Traquair. BTW, for those unfamiliar with colloquialisms, Trout are trout, sea trout are sea trout but only salmon are Fish or “Fush” in Scotland!
So a very disappointing week all in all. But it will be interesting to see if new fish come for the new fishers, now the dirty water has cleared from the bottom beats.
